The Canadian Association of Pharmacy in Oncology (CAPhO)'s Executive Committee is comprised of pharmacists, technicians and pharmacy assistants currently working in oncology.

Jennifer Jupp, Alberta Children's Hospital

President Jennifer Jupp graduated from the University of Alberta in 2000. Since then, she has worked as a clinical pharmacist within the Alberta Blood and Marrow Transplant Program in Calgary, Alberta. In 2007, Jennifer received her Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy and is currently the Clinical Practice Leader for Hematology, Oncology and Transplant at the Alberta Children’s Hospital. |

Carlo De Angelis, Odette Cancer Centre

Past President Carlo De Angelis earned his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Toronto in 1981 and completed a Hospital Pharmacy Residency at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in 1982. He graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1984. From 1985 to the present, Carlo has been the Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator for Oncology at the Odette Cancer Centre, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and has owned and managed a community pharmacy, Panacea Pharmacy since 1994. |

Joan Fabbro, BC Cancer Agency

President-Elect Joan Fabbro has been an oncology pharmacist at the BC Cancer Agency since 1997 and has held the position of Chemotherapy Certification Pharmacist since 2006. She is the Chair of the BCCA Pharmacy Safe Handling Working Group which has developed pharmacy directives/procedures for the safe handling of hazardous drugs for the BCCA. |

Lori Emond, CancerCare Manitoba
|
Treasurer Lori Emond graduated as a Pharmacy Technician from Winnipeg Technical College in May 1988. She currently works at CancerCare Manitoba. She has done many tasks including setting up the IV chemo program, working in the IV room, training other technicians in IV technique, and working as an investigational drug study technician. |

Tara Leslie, Foothills Medical Center

Education Co-Chair CEC Tara Leslie is a graduate from the University of Saskatchewan, College of Pharmacy. In 2010, she obtained her Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy. Tara maintains a clinical practice with the inpatient Hematology and BMT program at Foothills Medical Center in Calgary. Outside of work, Tara enjoys playing the piano and spending time with her family. |

Biljana Spirovski, Humber River Regional Hospital

Education Co-Chair NOPS / Research Biljana Spirovski is a clinical pharmacist in the Oncology and Clinical Trials program at Humber River Regional Hospital in Toronto. She established the chemo pharmacy satellite at Humber in the 1990s and has been an instrumental part of its growth ever since. Biljana has recently spear-headed the establishment of the OPTRA group, a network of oncology pharmacists in the Greater Toronto Area that meets quarterly to discuss oncology pharmacy related issues. Biljana is a Past Chair of the Pharmacists Network Steering group at the NCIC. |

Victoria Kletas, BC Cancer Agency

Awards Committee Chair Victoria Kletas is a clinical pharmacist currently practicing at the BC Cancer Agency in Vancouver. Her various roles include Oncology Drug Information Pharmacist providing drug information as part of the Provincial Drug Information Team, well as Genitourinary Tumour Group Pharmacist. Victoria has a longstanding involvement with CAPhO having served as a NOPS Co-chair for several years. |

Betty Riddell, Retired Pharmacist

Membership Committee Chair Betty Riddell has served on the CAPhO Executive in the roles of Secretary and presently as Chair of the Membership Committee. Betty holds honourary life memberships in the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacists, the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists and the Canadian Pharmacists Association. She was the first recipient of the CAPhO Distinguished Service Award for initial work related to “Standards of Practice for Oncology Pharmacy in Canada”. Betty was also instrumental in developing and leading a pilot project on establishing an oncology pharmacy residency. |

Christopher Ralph, Tom Baker Cancer Centre

Communications Committee Chair Chris Ralph graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland with a Bachelor of Science (Pharmacy) in 1997. Since 2006, Chris has worked as a clinical pharmacist in the Pain and Palliative Care outpatient clinic at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre in Calgary. He has participated in several provincial IV team projects for AHS Cancer Care and runs an oncology professional information resource website - OncoPRN. In his spare time, Chris enjoys watching and playing various sports , playing guitar, sportswriting, biking, skiing, and traveling. |

Yvonne Dresen, University Hospital of Northern BC

Member at Large Yvonne Dresen is a clinical pharmacy technician at the Regional Cancer Care Unit at UHNBC in Prince George, BC. Yvonne’s many years of experience at UHNBC include working as a laboratory assistant prior to working as a pharmacy technician and a Sterile Compound/IV Trainer. Yvonne has completed the bridging component of pharmacy technician regulation and is awaiting the PEBC exam results. |
